Beginning Glass Fusing Techniques – for students who want to learn the basics of art glass fusing. Starting with an introduction to glass characteristics, the instructor will teach all facets of the basic process of glass fusing from learning to cut glass, use of design elements, assembling art glass projects, and fusing.
| Intermediate Glass Fusing Techniques – for students with a basic knowledge of glass fusing techniques. Class includes instruction in cutting techniques including using a ring saw, drill press, and dremel tool, torch work, use of molds for slumping and draping, and kiln management. Students will make two large art glass projects.
| Imagery with Fused Glass – for the student with basic and intermediate art glass fusing knowledge. This class will introduce the student to painting with glass techniques using the fusing process. Students will make two projects.
| | Fused Glass Jewelry Techniques – for students with basic glass fusing knowledge. The instructor will focus on specific techniques related to small jewelry pieces, including firing with metal, multi-layer work, use of dichro, and making bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.
| | Baskets – for students with basic and intermediate knowledge. Focusing on special glass projects using circles, basket weave, layering and design elements. This is a project-oriented workshop. Students will make two projects.
